Baton-bu baton club or Twinklestars

The Twinklestars was the first club that was formed in Sakura Gakuin. They released their first single, "Dear Mr.Socrates", on November 28, 2010; a DVD containing the music video for the title track was released in January 2011.

The group sang and danced while twirling batons.

They became inactive after Ayami Muto’s graduation in 2012, it was revived temporarily in 2013 for Sakura Gakuins 3rd anniversary concert in December 2013. It was later announced to be active again in September 2014 with a new line-up. The unit became inactive after Yui, Moa and Yunano's graduation in March 2015.

Cooking Club Kukkingu-bu or MiniPati

Minipati was formed in 2009, before Sakura Gakuin was even formed. Minipati was formed to promote eating healthy. The club had three generations and is inactive as of 2018. Minipati was third unit to be in Sakura Gakuin, following BABYMETAL and Twinklestars.

Heavy Music Club Juuon-bu or BABYMETAL

Babymetal was formed in 2010 making it the 2nd club to be formed after Twinklestars. They mix jpop with metal, they also pioneered the genre Kawaii Metal. In 2013 they split off of Sakura Gakuin and became a independent group.

Newspaper Club Shinbun-bu or Scoopers

Scoopers was formed in 2010 with the concept of a newspaper club. They interviewed other clubs and were the mc for some live shows in 2010. After Ayaka and Airi graduated in 2012 , the club has been inactive since.

Go Home Club Kitaku-bu or Sleepiece

Sleepiece was a club that was formed in 2010 with the concept of kids who don’t have after school clubs and go home instead. Their songs are are mostly covers of 80s anime songs. They had 3 generations and have been inactive since 2017.

Science Club Kagaku-bu or Kagaku Kyumei Kiko Logica? or Logica?

Logica was formed in 2012 with the concept of science. They had 3 generations and have been inactive since 2018.
